Part 2 of the How To lighten natural hair naturally is actually quite short. I felt the first how to would be too long if I put three lightening recipes in at once. So here is the third recipe, like the others it will give you a gradual lightening and won't be too harmful to your natural hair.
Lemon, Olive Oil, & Water Spritz
Ingredients/Tools:
Fresh Lemon/ Store Bought Lemon Juice
Olive Oil
Water
Spray Bottle
Thick Nourishing Conditioner/Deep Conditioner
Blow Dryer (optional)
Steps:
1. Add 2-3 table spoons of lemon juice and 1 cup of water
into a clean spray bottle.
2. Add 1 table spoon of olive oil into the bottle.
3. Put on the nozzle and shake!
4. Spray onto clean wet hair and gently comb through.
5. You can either take a walk (or just sit) in the sun for 30 minutes.
Or you can always blow dry your hair on high. The heat will activate the lemon juice to lighten your hair.
6. Rinse your hair with cool water and condition your hair for about 15 minutes or longer.
Variations
You can use lime juice and even put as much as 50% lemon juice
