About This Blog

Here everything is Afrikan! We'll only talk about products and services available in Africa. You won't get excited by something here only to find it's not available or you'll have to sell a kidney to get it where you stay.
But most importantly we love your hair just as much as you do

I recently discovered that there is a world of women out there who care as much about their natural hair as I do! Shocking I know, but I honestly never considered doing an online search for info on my hair till I noticed I had too much breakage and dare I say it, split ends (cue ominous music and thunder clap).None of the products I had been using for my relaxed hair worked the same for my natural and very kinky hair. So I did a good ol' Google search and, girl, I'm so glad I did!

A totally new world of styles, products and info was opened up for me, and I'm still riding the high!I learned the names for styles I've been doing for years, new styles I could try out, awsome home remedies and a whole lot more.

But all was not well in the land of hair and honey.... I could not get the products I kept seeing reviewed by natural haired sisters in the first world.

And so my quest began.
To create a place where women (and men) with natural hair living in Africa can get info on caring for their hair that wont cost them an arm and a leg and is available here in africa. A place where transitioners and those who have recently Big Chopped can find resources that will keep them motivated and on the natural path.
I'm also hoping that this blog will help me stay on track with my hair goals as well as provide me with an outlet to share all the natural hair info I'm learning on my journey.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS!!!
This blog is far from complete but I seriously feel that there's no time like the present to get started and get to putting out info.
